Topic: Drafting Power of Attorney Documents Using Contract Express
Speaker: Eva Adams-Ward, Staff Attorney at the Center for Disability & Elder Law
Our committee will be conducting a training in coordination with CDEL for individuals who wish to participate in one of CDEL’s Power of Attorney Workshops – a one stop event for clients who wish to draft Powers of Attorney for Healthcare and Property. Clients can sit down with an attorney to draft documents and then execute them all at once!
During our committee's regularly scheduled meeting, we will be going over how to draft advance directives using Contract Express, a program designed to facilitate the creation of estate planning documents. This training qualifies for MCLE credit and can be attended even if you do not wish to volunteer. (IL MCLE credit for live webcast only.)
Volunteer Opportunity:
Following the committee meeting on Monday, on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, you may put this training to use at one of CDEL's Power of Attorney Workshops held at St. Ailbe Love Senior Apartments at 9240 S Kimbark Ave, Chicago from approximately 1 PM to 4 PM.
