The Three Binders Every Litigator Needs: Organizing for Peak Trial Performance
Even in an age of sophisticated legal tech, top trial teams still rely on a simple but powerful tool: the binder. This session shows how well-structured digital or physical binders can transform case prep and boost confidence in the courtroom.
Attendees will learn to:
• Build and adapt working, argument, and trial binders
• Organize and maintain binders as living, strategic tools
• Use binders to improve collaboration and team prep
• Apply binder principles to create custom case strategies
Speaker:
Sam Davidoff is the CEO & Founder of Align, a digital binder platform for attorneys. Before launching Align, Sam was a partner at Williams & Connolly LLP, where he spent nearly 20 years handling complex litigation, white-collar defense, congressional investigations, commercial disputes, and IP litigation. Although he now leads a digital binder company, this session is entirely product-agnostic and focused on practical strategies that apply to any format—digital or paper.
