Topic: Combatting Seller Impersonation Fraud and Maximizing Client Security and Privacy with Land Trusts and the Tripleshield Protection Plan

Speaker: David J. Lanciotti, Executive Vice President/General Counsel, The Land Trust Company

Speaker Bio: David Lanciotti has been with The Land Trust Company since 2001, and currently serves as its Executive Vice President and General Counsel.  His responsibilities include oversight of all aspects of the company, including trust operations and administration, business development, as well as all corporate legal and regulatory matters. 

He is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and in Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.  Mr. Lanciotti is a past President and current Board Member of Land Trust Council of Illinois.  He is also the author of Land Trust Administration in Illinois (IICLE 2015) and Modern Land Trust Practice (IICLE 2020).  In addition, he is a board-certified Continuing Legal Education Instructor and a frequent speaker at legal and banking seminars on land trust issues.
