Recent Rule Changes & Future Proposals for Judges & Lawyers (11/30/23)

This program will review some of the most recent revisions to the Illinois Rules of Professional Conduct (IRPC) and the Illinois Code of Judicial Conduct (ICJC) and discuss possible future modifications. Our discussion will include the changes to IRPC 1.5 and 1.15 and cover revisions to the Preamble and Canons of the ICJC. Our speakers will talk about the practical application of the changes, examine ethical issues, and provide context and perspective.
