Non-Attorneys Providing Legal Services - Is Regulation Possible? (11/10/22)

This program will explore some of the current efforts to permit and regulate the practice of law by non-attorneys.  We will review the ethical issues involved, discuss the rules of professional conduct that apply, and examine the consequences of such actions.  The discussion will include the perspectives of regulation counsel from Utah and Illinois.

The Utah Legal Sandbox: Ethical issues involved, how the rules apply, and the regulatory scheme for overseeing non-attorney practice in that State.
