Learn more about the impact the end of Affirmative Action will have on how community-based organizations counsel students on their higher education choices, using the Chicago Scholars’ college counseling model as a focal point. This model is primarily accessed by students of color and those who will be first-generation, low-income students. Dr. Pope will also discuss the ways that shifts in higher education access like the Affirmative Action decision impacts the future work and life outcomes of students like Chicago Scholars. Muslim Bar Association Chicago will co-host the CLE.
Speaker:
Dr. Tamara Hoff Pope, Chief Strategy Officer, Chicago Scholars
