Microaggressions in the legal field will be explored as a key topic in this panel discussion. These subtle, often unintentional comments or actions, such as questioning a minority attorney’s qualifications, assuming a woman is not a lawyer, or assigning work based on race. Such experiences can undermine professionalism and create hostile work environments. The discussion will also address how these behaviors contribute to burnout, mental health challenges, and higher turnover among diverse legal professionals.
