Lunch with a Judge: Maura Slattery Boyle (09/19/22)

The Lunch with a Judge series strives to provide lawyers with the unique opportunity to hear from a member of the bench in an intimate setting. This installment of the program will feature Judge Maura Slattery Boyle. Judge Maura Slattery Boyle was elected a Cook County Judge in December 2000. Judge Slattery Boyle has been assigned and presided over cases in traffic, central bond court and felony preliminary hearing calls. Beginning in 2009 Judge Slattery Boyle was currently assigned to the Criminal Division. Judge Slattery Boyle presided over a court call that contained cases involving allegations of murder, sexual assault, domestic violence, guns, narcotics and cases involving gang activity and narcotic sales. Since 2018, Judge Slattery Boyle has been assigned to the Civil Division Jury Trial Section. Judge Slattery Boyle has presided over 100s of bench trials and motions and has also presided over about 100 felony jury trials. (No MCLE Credit)
