Topic: Your Organization Already Has a Culture. The Question Is: Is It Helping or Hurting?
Speaker: Linda Carlisle, Comm.ext
Description: Every organization already has a culture. The real question is whether that culture was designed intentionally — or developed by default. Just as individuals work to become more self-aware and effective in relationships, organizations must become intentional about the behaviors, systems, and communication patterns that shape how their people experience the workplace.
In this session, Linda Carlisle will challenge the idea that culture is a “fluffy nice-to-have” and reframe it as a business-critical system that drives performance, retention, trust, and alignment — especially during periods of growth, disruption, and change.
Designed for leaders in the legal profession, this session will provide a practical, no-fluff approach to:
Defining the behaviors that drive performance and accountability
Embedding culture into everyday systems — not just values statements
Activating managers and peer influencers as culture ambassadors
Using strategic communications to make culture visible, tangible, and sustainable
Attendees will leave with actionable strategies to intentionally shape a culture that strengthens engagement, supports performance, and helps organizations navigate change more effectively.
