A discussion on Nina Barrett's powerful book, "The Leopold and Loeb files, an intimate look at one of America's most infamous crimes."

Description: This year is the 100th  anniversary of  the murder of 14 year old Bobby Franks by two University of Chicago students, Nathan Leopold and Richard Loeb. The book includes extended passages from the court transcript, including parts of Clarance Darrow's  successful plea for life imprisonment for the two, battling the State's demand that the two be hung. The book also discusses Elmer Gertz's efforts to win  release from prison for Leopold after he had served 30 years in Statesville.
