TOPIC: Director’s Debut: Meet the New Director of the EEOC’s Chicago District
As the newly appointed District Director for the EEOC’s Chicago District Office (CDO) (encompassing Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota), Amrith Kaur Aakre will speak about her vision for updating the Chicago District’s current infrastructure and operating procedures to ensure more streamlined productivity, efficiency, and consistency across the CDO, while executing the EEOC’s recently updated Strategic Enforcement Plan. To meet the needs of our stakeholder groups, this also includes learning from employees, employers, and vulnerable communities how the EEOC can better serve the public to establish respectful and inclusive workplaces within our region.
