How To…Retain Your Top Associate and Partner Talent (12/14/23)

The Great Resignation following the COVID-19 pandemic brought to light the evolving priorities of lawyers when it comes to how they want to work and what they expect from their law firms in terms of career development and job satisfaction. Based on the findings of Major, Lindsey & Africa’s 2023 Lateral Partner Satisfaction Survey and Associate Retention Survey, this seminar will explore the motivations and desires of law firm lawyers and offer guidance on what law firms of any size can do to retain their top talent.

Speakers:
Pamela S. DiCarlantonio is a Partner in Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Partner Practice Group. She represents law firm partners and groups of lawyers who are considering a change and helps them determine which firms provide the best platform and strategic fit based on the factors that are most important to them. A former litigator, Pam is a professional career advisor who believes in developing long-term relationships with attorneys at every level, including those who look to her for assistance in navigating challenges in their current environment. Pam earned her JD at the University of Illinois and her bachelor’s degree in journalism at the University of Maryland, College Park.

Tina Cohen Nicol is a Partner in Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Associate Practice Group.  In addition to representing associates, she has experience working with attorneys at all levels in the lateral marketplace, including individual partners, partner groups, government attorneys and in-house attorneys.
