How A.I. is Changing Transactional Law (10/11/23)

Artificial Intelligence (AI) arises in both the expected places and places you wouldn’t expect. Businesses may have employees that use AI opportunistically (such as by soliciting help from generative AI tools to write ad copy), or more intrinsically in their business as part of the development of the tools or solutions they offer, or even as those solutions. The types of legal risks attendant to AI implementation will depend on how it is being used, so lawyers advising on transactions involving AI, or involving companies who use AI, would be well-advised to familiarize themselves with the types of AI involved in such transactions and the types of AI risks that are out there. This seminar will begin with a talk on domestic law and continue with international implications, specifically regarding the European Union and United Kingdom. Finally, the seminar will conclude with time for questions and answers.
