Running on Fumes – Helping Working Parents Prevent Burnout

The Surgeon General recently raised the alarm regarding the debilitating impact chronic stress and burnout have on parents in the US, noting that 2/5 of working parents report they are "too stressed to function" and nearly half saying their stress is "completely overwhelming."  Join certified coach, attorney well-being expert, and father-of-two, Jonathan Beitner, for an interactive workshop that will arm you with a toolkit of evidence-based strategies for supporting the working parents in your life and on your teams.

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
-- Understand and articulate what burnout is, the different root causes of burnout, and how burnout impacts working parents’ health, productivity, and the development of their children;
– Learn strategies and techniques to help individuals and teams avoid and recover from burnout to maximize their individual and collective thriving; and
– Apply these strategies to their own jobs and routines to reduce burnout by exercising greater autonomy and better aligning their actions and values.
