Topic: Do Good and Sell It Well: Cause Marketing Legal Issues
Description: Cause marketing is a popular way for consumers to support charitable causes while engaging in shopping and other everyday activities. This session will explore the current legal and regulatory issues impacting cause marketing efforts, including commercial co-venture promotions and round-up campaigns. It will also consider the effects of recent regulatory changes, such as new rules governing charitable fundraising platforms and their applicability to online cause marketing. Additionally, the session will discuss the potential influence of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) on corporate cause marketing and giving strategies.
