Federal Court Walk-Through (06/08/26)

This is an in-person program hosted at the Dirksen Federal Building (219 S. Dearborn St., Chicago, IL 60604). Lunch will be provided.

The YLS invites you to learn the ins and outs of the Federal Courthouse with our walk-through! Meet with a variety of judges and clerks and hear from attorneys who regularly practice in the Federal Building to see what it’s like to practice in the courthouse. 

10:45-11:55 AM Meetings with Judges/Clerks (Part 1)

11:15-11:20 AM: Move to next courtroom
11:20-11:50 AM: Judge Beth Jantz (Magistrate)
11:50-12:00 PM: Move to second floor conference space

Question & Answer: Open the Q&A window, allowing you to ask questions to the host and panelists. They can either reply back to you via text in the Q&A window or answer your question live.
