Patrick C. Emans is a Partner in Holland & Knight's Miami and Jacksonville offices, serving as general counsel to wealthy individuals, families and businesses, and as deputy leader of the firm's Global Wealth and Family Office Practice Group. He focuses on domestic and international estate and tax planning, family office structuring, complex estate and trust administration, and trust and estate disputes, and assists charities with obtaining and maintaining tax-exempt status.
Pamela Lucina leads Family Office Solutions, Northern Trust's offering for ultra-high net worth individuals and families that combines custom advisory expertise with institutional family office capabilities. In this role, she oversees a dedicated team within our Global Family Office business that supports clients as an outsourced family office. Pam has a strong background in wealth, tax, philanthropic and business owner planning; she also brings expertise in next-generation education, governance and global family office matters. She is a recognized leader and speaker within the estate and trust legal community.
Trisha M. Rich is a Partner in Holland & Knight's Chicago and New York offices and is a litigator and trial attorney recognized as one of the country's foremost lawyers on legal ethics, professional responsibility, and the regulation of the legal profession. With more than two decades of experience, she has served as lead or co-lead counsel in more than a dozen trials and arbitrations involving business torts, contracts, employment matters and negligence. She is president of the Chicago Bar Association and a past president of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers.
Elizabeth "Lizzy" A. Garlovsky is a Partner and private wealth services attorney in Holland & Knight's Chicago office. She focuses on estate planning and wealth transfer strategies for individuals and families, including probate and estate and trust administration. With more than 20 years of combined experience in private practice, the public sector and as a wealth advisor for a multinational bank, she helps clients prepare and implement estate plans.
