Description: IDFPR’s Regulatory Innovation Officer, Jake Hamilton, and Senior Associate General Counsel, Brett Dey will join the Chicago Bar Association’s Consumer Law and Credit Committee to discuss a new regulatory framework for digital asset businesses in Illinois. The presentation will discuss the digital asset market generally, Illinois’ and other state and federal approaches to regulating digital assets, and provide an overview of the Department’s recently proposed administrative rules.
