Change Your Mindset to Drive Business and Amp Up Your Law Practice
This is an in-person event hosted at The Chicago Bar Association building (321 S. Plymouth Court, Chicago, IL 60604).
As the legal and business landscapes rapidly evolve, business of law strategies are increasingly important to the success of law firms, legal departments and the clients we serve. A new book, Change Yourself, is written for lawyers at all stages to build the mindsets and habits needed to successfully drive all aspects of professionalism, including client service, developing the qualities of a great lawyer, business development and leaving a legacy.
Part of the Paradigm Shift Series, the book is co-authored by Christina Martini, Partner, McDermott Will & Schulte and David Susler, Associate General Counsel, National Material L.P.
Kathy Morris of Under Advisement, Ltd., the CBA Career Advancement Program featured career counselor, will interview the co-authors of this hard-hitting and heartfelt guide to being a stand-out lawyer, leader, mentor and human.
Co-sponsored by the CBA YLS and CAP, with an introductory greeting from the Chair of the Young Lawyers Section Gavin Phelps, we’ll gather around the fireplace at the CBA for a thought-provoking and inspirational conversation on the skills needed to navigate mission-critical business of law topics and the special skills required of today’s and tomorrow’s exceptional lawyer. Then, stick around after the program to mix and mingle at the YLS Annual Holiday party!
