Best Practices in Preparing & Presenting Insurance Claims (2/13/25)

The CBA Insurance Law Committee brings together insurer and policyholder perspectives from in-house counsel, outside claim preparation experts, and a global insurance broker on the best practices for preparing and presenting insurance claims. This panel will discuss how to best prepare and present first party claims such as property loss, business interruption, and cyber loss, including processes on both sides of the aisle and common issues and challenges in managing first party claims. The panel will also discuss issues, challenges, and best practices for valuing third party claims, including performing settlement-related analysis and addressing allocation of claims across multiple policies.
