An Overview of Election Auditing: Restoring Trust in U.S. Election Administration
This is a live-only hybrid event with an in-person and a webinar option. Please select the appropriate button when registering if you plan to attend in-person. Event will be held at Chicago Bar Association, 321 S. Plymouth Court, Chicago, IL 60604. This program will not be available in the CBA's on-demand library. The recorded program will instead be available as an on-demand selection through the ABA's website, which will require a separate registration.
Polls indicate that confidence in America's elections are at historic lows. By verifying the accuracy and integrity of our elections, election audits can improve trust in election administration. This seminar will provide an overview of election auditing, with special attention given to risk-limiting audits. This program is co-sponsored by the CBA Election Law Committee and the ABA Standing Committee on Election Law.
