Topic: Privacy and AI: Leveraging AI in Legal Practice

Speaker:
Tyler Thompson, Reed Smith

Description: While it may be in vogue to say AI will replace lawyers, the reality today is that lawyers are leveraging AI to become even more effective. This presentation will take a deep dive in AI use cases for legal practice, with a look at how lawyers and legal teams are using AI today and how it might be used in the near-term future. Leveraging AI isn’t without risk: ethical obligations around legal use of AI will also be discussed. From large in-house legal teams to solo practitioners with their own firms, expect a hands-on look at how AI is changing the practice of law today.
