A Conversation About Deportation and The Law (4/7/25)

Includes a Live Web Event on 04-07-2025 at 12:00 PM (CDT)

Join attorneys Nancy Vizer and Richard Hanus for a panel conversation about the current legal landscape on immigration law with a focus on deportations. The program will start with a background on immigration applications and the risks noncitizen applicants face, including scenarios where their status could be jeopardized or lead to being placed in deportation proceedings. We will then discuss the class of activities that could make someone deportable as well as various defenses or requests for relief to deportation. The conversation will end with an overview of deportation proceedings and what rights potential deportees have in the context of these proceedings. Q&A will follow. The panel discussion will be co-hosted and facilitated by the Decalogue Society of Lawyers.

Speakers:
Richard Hanus, The Law Offices of Richard Hanus
Nancy M. Vizer,  Nancy M. Vizer, P.C.
