TOPIC: SPCC Applicability and Fundamental Compliance. Facilities subject to spill prevention, control, and countermeasure (SPCC) regulations must develop and successfully implement SPCC plans. With regulations, guidance, and interpretations changing regularly staying up to speed on compliance with this program can be challenging. This webinar is designed to introduce applicable regulations for those responsible for developing SPCC plans, managing SPCC compliance programs, or evaluating SPCC compliance. Topics include: Regulatory Development, Applicability, SPCC Facility Requirements, General Containment, Sized Secondary Containment, SPCC Plan Requirements and SPCC Best Management Practices. 

The webinar focuses on SPCC fundamentals as well as time for Q & A. Links to well established reference materials including the current EPA SPCC Inspector’s Guide and SPCC inspection checklists among more, are provided to help the participant manage and better understand requirements.

John is a highly experienced environmental professional engineer with deep technical and regulatory experience in compliance, risk evaluations, due diligence, and operations. John has spent the last 30 years in the oil & gas, petrochemical, and refinery business at BP. For this past year, John has operated Cadenza Environmental LLC.
