TOPIC: Understanding and Avoiding Burnout: The “Other” Pandemic. A recent Attorney Workload and Hours survey by Bloomberg Law Analysis found that burnout among lawyers is on the rise and overall well-being is on the decline.  Come learn about burnout, its causes, and strategies to avoid becoming burnt out at work.

SPEAKER/ORGANIZATION: Jonathan Beitner, Certified Coach & Founder, De Novo Professional Development. Jonathan is a frequent speaker and author on topics related to the intersection of professional development and well-being.  He helps individuals identify and achieve their goals and works with firms, law schools, and Fortune 500 companies to help their lawyers, students, and staff be more productive, happier, and healthier. As a co-creator of the American Bar Association’s Well-Being Pledge and a lead organizer for Well-Being Week in Law, Jonathan has experience creating and implementing industry-wide initiatives to help lawyers and legal professionals thrive.  Jonathan previously practiced as a litigator at Jenner & Block LLP and clerked for federal judges on the Sixth Circuit and Eastern District of Michigan after graduating from the University of Michigan Law School.
