State of IL Sexual Harassment Training (12/22/20)
- Registration Closed
The CBA will offer a sexual harassment training session that will better enable lawyers to prevent, combat and appropriately redress sexual harassment in the legal workplace, as well as understand the requirements set forth in Public Act 1010-0221. Under this Act, all Illinois employers with employees working in the State are required to train employees on sexual harassment prevention by December 31, 2020, and on an annual basis thereafter. The CBA’s training session meets the standards for sexual harassment prevention training outlined in Section 2-109(B) of the Illinois Human Rights Act (IHRA) for lawyers, as well as law firm staff and employees.
Each attorney registration includes access for 5 additional law firm staff members to complete the training. Additional staff members may be registered for fee of $25 per every 5 registrants. Staff member participation will be tracked through the CBA’s webcasting system, and instructions will be provided as to how the employer can complete the State certification process for its employees. Please email email@example.com to be provided a link to register additional staff members for the webinar. If an attorney wishes to receive IL MCLE credit for the program, they must individually register and attend the program.
