Starting Your Solo Practice: Your Technology Suite (05/24/22)

Technology can help solo practitioners run a more streamlined and efficient practice, but it can also be a time-consuming endeavor. There are so many companies and platforms on the market that it can be hard to determine what you need and which offering will work best for you. In this program, we’ll hear from several solo practitioners about what technologies they use and how they leverage them in their practice. You’ll hear first-hand testimonials instead of sales pitches and gain a clearer sense of how you can use these technologies to make your practice (and life) run more smoothly.

Conor Malloy is the Project Director for the Lawyers' Committee for Better Housing's chatbot initiative, 'Rentervention.' He is a graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law, and received Meritorious Recognition for the ABA's 2018 Louis M. Brown Award for Legal Access and contributed to the Illinois COVID HELP initiative resulting in another Louis M. Brown award in 2021. He has served on numerous panels, and delivered presentations across the US and Canada concerning process automation, tech-efficient law practices and access to justice. He has served on the Chicago Bar Foundation's Task Force on the Sustainable Practice of Law & Innovation's committee on Regulating Technology-Based Legal Products and Services, and now serves on an Illinois Supreme Court Committee for the Modernization of Service of Process.
