Starting Your Solo Practice: Build a Firm that Meets Clients Where They Are (9/10/2021)

Traditionally, law firms have followed the same blueprint – build a lawyer-centric law firm and the clients will come. While this Field of Dreams model worked in the past, it is no longer an effective or profitable model today. Times have changed and today’s legal consumers want attorneys who prioritize their legal and customer service needs. They want attorneys who are going to meet them where they are figuratively, and sometimes literally.

Thankfully, there are endless ways you can build a profitable law firm that achieves this goal. Despite what you have learned thus far in your legal career, there is no box when it comes to building a profitable and client-centric firm. This program will kick-off the How to Start a Solo/Small Firm Series and is designed to:

   Introduce you to research on what legal consumers do and to where they turn when they have a legal problem;
   Inspire you to think creatively about you firm’s business model and delivery of legal services; and
   Open your eyes to untapped markets and how to connect with them.

Come with an open mind and a desire to think differently. Leave with a new vision for developing a profitable and client-centric law firm that sets you apart from your competition and meets your target markets where they are.
