Practice Basics: Motion Practice (6/28/2021)
This program will provide overview of the fundamentals of motion practice in civil cases for new attorneys. You will walk away with a greater understanding of how to handle your first case in the motion stage of litigation. We’ll discuss Notices, Certificates of Service and Motions ranging from Motions to Dismiss and Rules to Show Cause, Motions to Default and for Summary Judgment, Motions in Limine, and Motions for Directed Verdict and Post-Trial Motions. Q&A is welcome and encouraged.
