The Young Lawyers Section’s Racial Justice Coalition will host a Practice Basics seminar, targeted to younger lawyers, about cultural competency. The presentation will define and provide an overview of cultural competency, discuss why it is important and ethical for attorneys to develop cultural competency, and its underpinnings in the Model Rules of Professional Conduct.
