Inspiring Women: Meet the Women Leading Chicago’s Museums (03/08/22)

Did you know that the top legal advisors to several of Chicago’s major museums are women? Their appointment to these prestigious roles marks a major step forward in achieving greater diversity and fairer representation in our city’s major cultural institutions. Join the CBA as we celebrate and learn from the women who are leading Chicago’s Museums. They will share success stories and lessons learned along the way on their journey to the top. They will also discuss the primary legal issues Chicago’s museums are contending with today, the unique challenges they have faced serving in roles traditionally held by men and how they developed the experience necessary to succeed.

Panelists:

Lori Breslauer, General Counsel, Field Museum
Catherine Casey, General Counsel, Shedd Aquarium
Pam Chen, General Counsel, Museum of Science and Industry
Leslie Darling, General Counsel, Art Institute of Chicago

Moderator:
E. Lynn Grayson, 2021-2022 CBA President & Partner, Nijman & Franzetti
