How To…Use iPads in the Courtroom (4/19/23)

It's no secret that iPads have become a go-to tool for litigators in the courtroom. Not only are they user-friendly, but they offer a wealth of resources at your fingertips, making them an ideal choice for lawyers from small or solo firms. In this seminar, we will dive into the LitSoftware Suite - the most popular iPad litigation tool - and explore its latest updates and specific use-cases for uploading exhibits. Plus, we'll introduce you to other apps that can streamline your litigation process, such as Microsoft Office Suite, PDF readers, Zoom, and more. We will also cover technical and practical steps to turn your personal iPad into your Trial Device if you need to.

Kevin Doran is a trial technician and founder of Legal Tech Chicago. He has over 7 years of experience as a hot seater, going to trial with attorneys and running the presentation for them. He has seen many trials from voir dire to verdict. He is passionate about expanding the use of legal technology by educating attorneys and their staff on how to leverage technology to make more effective and engaging trial presentations.
