How To…Envision the Post-Pandemic Law Office (11/19/20)

The pandemic has impacted every realm of life within the past year, and law practice is no exception. By now most lawyers have adjusted to working in this new environment (or they’re at least coping with it), but what will the long-term impacts be? Is remote work the new norm? In this seminar, we’ll take a look at what Court Buddy’s solo and small firm attorneys are saying surrounding how they expect to be practicing law in the coming months. We’ll give tips for working virtually and remotely and explore how you can securely meet with clients. We’ll also cover confidentiality and security guidelines, including ethics rules and opinions, and discuss what it means to require a lawyer to "make reasonable efforts to prevent the inadvertent or unauthorized disclosure of, or unauthorized access to" client information under the Ethics Rules.
