The CBA welcomes Congresswomen Cheri Bustos (IL-17) (appearing in person), Laurel Bellows (appearing in person) and Gretchen Carlson (appearing virtually) for, “Silenced No More: Survivors Speak,” a discussion about the Ending Forced Arbitration of Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Act that was signed into law on March 3, 2022 by President Joe Biden. As a result of this Act, individuals may no longer be forced to arbitrate claims of sexual assault and harassment. The panelists will explain what this new law means, how it protects individuals who experience sexual assault and harassment and how the law will be enforced. The presentation will be followed by a Meet-n-Greet with Congresswoman Bustos and Laurel Bellows.
