From Challenge Comes Change: Combating Sexual Harassment in the Legal Profession
This program is being offered as a part of The Chicago Bar Association’s Women’s History Month series. Sexual harassment and misconduct has been a long-standing problem in the legal profession, but the #MeToo movement cast a light on the need for change. In the years since, how has the legal profession evolved and has any progress been made? Join us for an overview of what’s been done and what still needs to be accomplished since #MeToo initiated a larger conversation around sexual harassment in the workplace.
Speakers:
Dina Ninfo, Illinois Department of Central Management Services
Jayne Reardon, Executive Director, Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism
Moderator: Kathryn Liss, Director of the Schiller DuCanto & Fleck Family Law Center and Assistant Director of Law Career Services, DePaul University College of Law
