The seminar will address the potential sunsetting of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 provisions impacting estate planning. There will be a review of current rules, anti-clawback regulations and anti-abuse proposed regulations, and an overview of the scheduled tax law changes. Lifetime planning opportunities and techniques that may allow taxpayers to take advantage of current tax laws will be reviewed. Time will be spent covering provisions that would provide taxpayers with flexibility to address potential future tax law changes. Finally, non-traditional situations will be reviewed.
